BCMS vs. LCA on Thursday will now be a 7th-grade-only game beginning at 7:30 PM. The 8th-grade game will be made up on September 17th at Paris at 7:00 PM. 🏈💙💛

📚 BCMS students will take the STAR District Benchmark in reading and math on Tuesday, September 1st and Wednesday, September 2nd. STAR helps measure each student’s current skills and growth, giving teachers valuable information to guide instruction and provide support where needed. Please encourage your student to get a good night’s rest, arrive on time, and do their best! ❤️💛

The Paris-Bourbon County FRYSC Bridging the Gap workshops will begin on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 6-7pm.  The first workshop "What is FRYSC?" This is a great opportunity to learn how FRYSC supports families, connects you to resources, and helps remove barriers for success.   We encourage all Bourbon County families to attend these workshops!!    The Bourbon County FRYSC workshop will be held at the Bourbon County High School cafeteria.      If you have any questions please contact your schools FRYSC (Family Resource and Youth Services Center) director. If you have requested assistance from our Circle of Love Holiday Assistance program these workshops will meet the requirements of that program.

Bourbon County Schools will host the first Local Planning Committee public forum on Wednesday June 24th, 2026. The meeting will take place in the Boardroom of Central Office. The forum will last from 5:00 - 5:30 PM. This will be the first of 3 public forums held in the community. The purpose of the meeting will be to hear public opinion related to Bourbon County Schools facilities. These comments will be shared with the Local Planning Committee to be included in the newest District Facility Plan. We look forward to hearing from you!
