Shrek the Musical is coming to Bourbon County!!

Dear Bourbon County Middle School Families,
In an effort to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly
environment at Bourbon County Middle School athletic events, we are
implementing a new policy regarding student supervision while
attending an athletic event. Beginning November 21st, of 2024 all
students under the age of 18 attending athletic events must be
accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. Our primary
goal is to maintain a welcoming atmosphere where all attendees can
enjoy the games in a safe setting. Students will be denied entry to
the venue without an adult present.
Bourbon County Middle School Athletic Event Policy:
All students (including high school, middle school, and elementary
school students) must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or
designated adult (18 years or older).
Unaccompanied students will not be permitted to enter the venue.
Adults are expected to remain on-site for the duration of the event.
We understand that this change may require some adjustments, but we
believe it is necessary to prioritize the safety and positive
experience of everyone involved in our school events. We encourage
families to make plans accordingly so that students can continue to
enjoy supporting their peers and school teams.
Bourbon County Middle School is committed to fostering school spirit
and providing a secure environment for our community. Thank you for
your cooperation and understanding as we work together to achieve this
goal.

This week at BCMS!

There will be no 21st century after school program on Tuesday, November 25th. We will resume when we get back from Thanksgiving.
🧡🥧 A huge THANK YOU to our amazing BCMS Builders Club for helping pack Thanksgiving meals for families in our community! Because of your hard work — and the generosity from our food drive — we were able to support 87 families this holiday season! 🦃🍂
So proud of the kindness and teamwork that made this possible! 💛✨

Pancakes for Patriots
On Friday, November 7th, BCMS proudly hosted Pancakes For Patriots, a breakfast to honor local veterans and active-duty service members. The event was hosted by FFA and Builders Club, and generously sponsored by Central Kentucky Ag Credit.
Students, staff, and community members came together to serve breakfast, share stories, and express gratitude for the sacrifices made by our heroes. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special morning possible.
Last week our BCMS KYA went to the Kentucky Youth Assembly State Conference in Louisville. Our students had a great time sharing and discussing their bills through a model state government process. Shoutout to all of our KYA delegates that represented our school through this leadership opportunity.

Join BCMS in celebrating World Kindness Day on Thursday, 11/13. Wear your favorite cardigan in spirit of Fred Rogers and spread kindness to others!
